Jamaica’s premier music festival, Reggae Sumfest, sent shockwaves through the global entertainment scene this weekend with the explosive reveal of its 2025 artiste line-up and official event graphics.
Music fans from across the world are now officially counting down to festival week, which will ignite Montego Bay, St James, from Sunday, July 13 to Saturday, July 19 at Catherine Hall Stadium and Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex — promising seven days of non-stop energy, culture, and world-class performances.
Tarrus Riley, Masicka, and Vybz Kartel have been confirmed as the headline acts for the two main nights of the festival — Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19 at Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex. Each artiste represents a pillar of Jamaica’s powerful musical legacy, from roots reggae to the gritty edge of dancehall, ensuring fans are in for unforgettable performances beneath the Montego Bay stars.
But that’s not all — Downsound Entertainment dropped a major surprise that has fans and insiders buzzing: the introduction of Global Fete, set for Thursday, July 17 at Catherine Hall Stadium. For the first time in its storied history, Reggae Sumfest will officially broaden its stage to showcase the power and influence of Afrobeats, hip-hop, reggae, and dancehall — all in one genre-defying night.
