Big vibes for Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz!
The squad just crept up one more spot to 68th in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Men’s World Ranking, fresh off a wild October window.
After a surprise 2-0 loss to Curaçao had fans holding their breath, the Boyz bounced right back with a commanding 4-0 win over Bermuda, reminding everyone why they’re still serious contenders in the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers.
That win keeps Jamaica sitting 5th among Concacaf nations, trailing the region’s top dogs — Mexico (14th), USA (16th), Canada (28th ⬇ 2), Costa Rica (45th ⬆ 2) and Honduras (64th ⬆ 1).
Meanwhile, over on the global stage, Spain continue to flex their Euro 2024-championship form and hold down the #1 spot, while Argentina (2nd ⬆ 1) edge closer after leapfrogging France (3rd ⬇ 1). England (4th) and Portugal (5th) round out the top five.
Brazil slipped to 7th ⬇ 1 after a friendly loss to Japan (ouch 😅), and Germany are back in the top 10 ⬆ 2 after regaining form.
Across Africa, Morocco (12th ⬇ 1) remain the continent’s powerhouse, while Nigeria (41st ⬆ 4) continue their steady climb. Shoutout to the biggest movers — Niger (108th), Lesotho (144th), and Faroe Islands (127th) — all jumping nine places!
So yeah, the Reggae Boyz are still on the come-up, inching closer to the global elite with every match. The next FIFA update drops November 21, 2025, and we’ll be watching.
