Icon Angie Stone to be laid to rest in Columbia

Icon award-winner and singer Angie Stone will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 15, at Columbia's First Nazareth Baptist Church on Gervais Street. 

Stone passed away last week after a car accident in Alabama after the vehicle she was riding in “flipped over and was subsequently hit by a big rig,” music producer Walter Millsap III told The Associated Press in an email.
