VENEZUELA UNDER SIEGE: THE AMERICAN IMPERIALISTS STRIKE

The dawn of 2026 brought the familiar, brutal roar of imperialism to Venezuela. The United States, drunk on its illusions of global domination, launched a brazen military strike against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, a sovereign nation fighting for its dignity, its people, and its resources. This is not a distant news story, this is an act of war, an open declaration by Washington that it will stop at nothing to dominate Venezuela.

In the pre-dawn hours of January 3, explosions tore through Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. Air bases, government buildings, and strategic military points were hit with precision strikes, leaving the streets in panic and chaos. The U.S. government claimed they captured President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, but let it be clear: this is not “justice”, it is kidnapping by the hands of the United States government. An attempt to decapitate Venezuela’s leadership and sow terror among its people.

The Trump Administration justifies this aggression with the same tired rhetoric that the US government has used for decades: claims of fighting corruption, drug trafficking, and terrorism. But we see through the veil. This is a naked grab for Venezuela’s resources, particularly oil, and a warning to any nation that dares to resist the dictates of Wall Street and Washington.

This operation is part of a long history of foreign intervention designed to suppress nations that seek independence from imperialist control. Today, the United States government has crossed the line from sanctions and coercion into blatant warfare on Venezuela, testing the limits of international law and human decency. The United States government would have the world believe they are liberators, but history will remember them as aggressors — invaders striking at a people determined to be free.

The U.S. brutally bombed Caracas, unleashing missiles and airstrikes on a densely populated capital, shaking homes, terrorizing civilians, and reducing sovereign streets to targets in a ruthless display of imperial force. They kidnapped a sitting president and called it “law enforcement.” Let there be no doubt, this is not justice, this is colonialism. The foundations of global justice are being blown apart before our very eyes, as the world watches the United States government terrorize a sovereign nation.
