Q :Social media is highly competitive. What do you think sets you apart from other influencers, and how have you built a brand that feels authentic to who you are?

A : One thing I remind myself of every day is that God cannot bless who you pretend to be. Because of that, I make it a priority to always show up as my authentic self.

What you see on my platform is simply an extension of the conversations, thoughts, and experiences I share with my friends and family daily. That’s why I refer to my viewers as “cousins”—it creates the same sense of connection, comfort, and genuine conversation that I value in my personal life.

My brand is built on authenticity and being exactly who God created me to be. I believe that when you embrace who you truly are, you give others permission to do the same.

Q: As a Caribbean woman with a public platform, how important is it for you to represent Caribbean culture, and what message do you hope your audience takes away from your content???

A: As a Caribbean woman with a platform centered around promoting our culture, I have always made it a priority to encourage unity within the Caribbean community. I believe in celebrating and uplifting all islands because our diversity is what makes our culture so special.

My goal is to inspire people to take pride in who they are, where they come from, and the legacy of their bloodline. No matter the island, we are connected through our shared history, traditions, and love for Caribbean culture. I want my platform to be a space where everyone feels seen, represented, and proud to embrace their roots.

Q:Many people see the highlights on social media but not the hard work behind the scenes. What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in building your influence and growing your audience???

A: When you make the decision to build a platform and pursue a career on social media, you have to mentally prepare yourself for the challenges that come along with the blessings. With the good will always come some negativity, so it's important to know God and know yourself. That foundation helps protect you from criticism, negativity, and people who may not have good intentions

I've learned that you cannot feed into every comment or every attempt to provoke a reaction. Not every battle deserves your energy, and not every opinion requires a response.

I've also learned the importance of balance. While I strive to be transparent and authentic with my audience, I believe some things should remain sacred. I try not to share my family too much, and although I keep much of my life open for my supporters, a portion of it has to remain private for my peace, protection, and sanity.

Authenticity doesn't mean sharing everything—it means being genuine while still protecting what matters most.

Q:How do you handle criticism, online negativity, or the pressure that comes with living part of your life in the public eye???

A: When it comes to handling negativity and criticism, it all goes back to knowing yourself. When you are secure in who you are, other people's opinions don't carry the same weight. I've learned that many people project their own unhappiness, frustrations, and insecurities onto others, so I try not to take things personally.

At the end of the day, I don't know these people, and they do not impact my real life, my purpose, or the people I love.

That's why it's important to remain level-headed and not allow strangers on the internet to control your emotions or dictate your peace.

Most of the time,

I choose to laugh it off and keep moving forward. And if necessary, I'm not afraid to use the block button. Protecting your peace is not being rude—it's setting healthy boundaries. Not everyone deserves access to your energy, and I've learned that sometimes the best response is no response at all.

Q:Looking ahead, what is your vision for your brand, and what exciting projects, business ventures, or goals can your supporters look forward to?

A; My cousins can look forward to even more adult field trips designed to encourage sisterhood within our community, create positive memories, and foster meaningful new connections. Building genuine relationships and bringing women together will continue to be a major part of my platform.

You can also expect monthly fitness and Zumba classes that make wellness fun while incorporating the Caribbean energy and vibes we all love. My goal is to show that fitness doesn’t have to feel like a chore—it can be something that brings people together and celebrates our culture at the same time.

And coming this fall, I will be launching my own YouTube show focused on Caribbean culture, entertainment, and community. I’m excited to create a space that highlights the people, stories, music, and events that make our culture so special.

I think many people will agree when I say we’re ready for something different. While relationship discussions have their place, entertainment has become oversaturated with the same conversations. I want to bring back fun, creativity, and cultural pride while still providing value and education. My vision is to create content that informs, inspires, and entertains—all while celebrating the richness of Caribbean culture.

“If you could use your platform to change one thing for women in the Caribbean, what would it be and why?”

  If I could use my platform to do one thing for women in the Caribbean, it would be to give them a voice. I want to create a safe space where Black women feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.

My mission is to encourage women to come together, uplift one another, and build genuine connections rooted in love, respect, and empowerment. There is so much power in sisterhood, and I believe that when women support each other, incredible things can happen.

I want my platform to remind women that they are not alone, that their stories matter, and that their voices deserve to be heard. Too often, women carry the weight of their families, communities, and cultures while rarely receiving the recognition they deserve.

Women are the foundation of so much in this world. We nurture, lead, create, inspire, and persevere. My hope is to continue using my platform to celebrate that strength, encourage unity, and create opportunities for women to thrive together.
