Dolly Don Added to the Lineup for August 29th: The Crowning of Anthony B

A new highlight has been added to what promises to be a major night of reggae and dancehall at Club Amazura in Queens.

The countdown is on for August 29th, when reggae fans will gather at Club Amazura for “The Crowning of Anthony B,” a celebration honoring one of reggae and dancehall’s enduring voices.

Now, the lineup has gotten even hotter.

Promoters Ghetto Gourmet, Ruby and Gary have added emerging dancehall sensation DollyDon to the evening’s entertainment lineup. The rising artist has been making noise with a string of 2026 releases, including Futbol, Closer, Courage, BUBBLE and Weh Mi Like, her collaboration with veteran reggae artist Chuck Fenda.

DollyDon’s addition brings another generation of dancehall energy to a celebration centered around a reggae veteran whose career has spanned more than three decades.

A Night Dedicated to Anthony B

The August 29 celebration is billed as a crowning of Anthony B, recognizing the Jamaican reggae and dancehall veteran and his continued contribution to the culture.

And Anthony B is certainly not slowing down.

The artist has remained prolific throughout 2026, releasing a steady stream of singles and collaborations. His recent releases include “Paradise,” “Everyday I Love You,” “Raving Hard,” “Bad Boys,” “Rasta” and his latest collaboration, “Jet Ski” with Jazzwad, released August 7.

There is even more on the horizon. Anthony B is scheduled to release his upcoming album World of Love on September 4, 2026, making the August 29 celebration an especially timely moment for fans to see the reggae veteran in New York.

The Lineup

The night will feature a strong combination of reggae, dancehall and sound-system energy.

Joining Anthony B and DollyDon will be Ginga and I-Wayne, with music provided by King Addies and Platinum Kids.

Keeping the evening moving as MC will be Killaboo from Irie Jam Radio.

With veterans, rising talent, DJs and dancehall energy all coming together under one roof, August 29 is shaping up to be a night built for reggae and dancehall lovers.
