Cardi B Gives Fans a Night to Remember at a Sold-Out Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Her Little Miss Drama Tour
And Ask Blondie TV was on the scene to give you the recap from start to finish—right in the center of it all.
You don’t start this night inside Prudential Center—you start outside.
The energy was already there. Fans arriving, lined up, dressed, ready. And the dress code? They understood the assignment. Fully in “Little Miss Drama” energy before even stepping inside. This was the Bardi Gang—and you could feel something special was about to happen.
Then you see it.
What looks like a food truck—but it’s not.
It’s that big green bus—Cardi B’s “beauty bodega” pop-up bus for her newly launched hair care brand, Grow-Good Beauty—parked right there in the lot. You had to walk up to it. It pulled you in. And once you realized what it was, the line said everything—long, active, fans fully tapped in.
And just like that, before even stepping inside, you understood—
this was intentional.
That’s a businesswoman.
Then you go inside.
We were in a box suite—ten of us—with a full view of the stage, but what really stood out was the audience. Being able to see them from every angle and feel their energy the entire night—that’s what made it hit differently. This wasn’t just a crowd. This was a moment for Cardi B and her fans.
Even inside, the demand followed. There was a full merch booth setup with a pop-up banner, and the line? Still long. Fans grabbing official merch, taking photos against the backdrop, capturing that they were there. The energy didn’t drop—it carried.
Before she even touched the stage, the tone was already set. DJ @SpinKing didn’t just play music—he was intentional. He knew exactly who was in that building, and he took us on a journey. R&B, reggae, soca, hip-hop, old school, new school—every genre, every culture, every vibe. And the crowd responded to all of it. They sang along to everything. Every transition landed. Every record hit. It didn’t matter where you were from—there was something for you in that set.
He built the room up, took it all the way there, and brought us right to that peak—
now… here’s Cardi B.
And when @iamcardib came on stage, the reaction said everything. The moment people heard her voice, that was it. That’s all they needed. The energy just exploded.
And she fed right into it.
At one point, she acknowledged the ongoing conversation—New York versus New Jersey—and turned it into a live moment. She challenged the crowd, fed off their energy, and they gave it right back. She made it clear Jersey had its own swag, and by the end of the night, in her mind, Jersey won. They were on their feet from beginning to end, loud, engaged, and fully outside—and you could feel how much she was feeding off that.
For two hours, Cardi B kept us on our feet from beginning to end with a phenomenal, stellar production. From the dancers to the choreography, from the wardrobe changes to the transitions, every moment felt intentional. There were moments where it felt like we were immersed in culture, celebrating in so many different ways, and you could feel the thought and love she put into her work.
The room turned into a full Bardi Gang chorus—every word, every hook echoed right back to her. From the pole to the cage, from the movement to the control, she didn’t just perform—she commanded the stage. Ten out of ten. She really put on a production.
At one point, the stage shifted into a full cultural celebration. Her dancers came out carrying flags—Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Guyana, Jamaica—and the room responded to every single one. You could see yourself in that moment. You could feel the culture in that moment. It was beautiful.
Then she brought out Fetty Wap, and the room went crazy. But what made that moment land even deeper was what came next—she had the audience say it with her: “welcome home.” And you felt that move through the entire building.
And toward the end of the show, she turned the spotlight back on the audience. The camera scanned the crowd, pulling out six contestants for a dance competition right there in the arena. One by one they danced, gave everything they had, and the crowd chose the winner in real time. And when it was all said and done, one person walked away with $5,000. That moment? That’s connection.
And that’s when it really settled in.
I already had love for Cardi.
But after last night, my respect for her—especially from a business standpoint—is on a whole different level.
Because if you are a woman who understands what it means to go from nothing to something—to truly build something from the ground up while people doubt you, question you, and try to define your purpose—you can’t help but respect what God has done in this woman’s life.
And at the end of it all, while @iamcardib said, “salute to a real bitch,” I say, salute to a real queen.
