Bace Basketball Continues the Fight Against Gun Violence by Engaging Youth Through Community Activities

After the tragic death of #JaydenPierce in #RoyWilkinsPark a place many in the community consider a safe zone there has been a renewed sense of urgency to protect and uplift our young people.

In response, the Bace Basketball organization has introduced another initiative aimed at keeping youth off the streets and involved in positive, life building activities. Beginning this Saturday, boxing will be added to their program lineup.

Coaches from Bace Basketball, alongside dedicated community members, have come together to bring boxing to the forefront as a structured and safe way for young people to channel their energy, build discipline, and connect through sport.

The loss of Jayden Pierce has left the community in shock. Combined with the ongoing gun violence affecting boroughs across New York City , including the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan , it’s clear that action is needed now more than ever.

This is a call for unity. A call for presence. A call for change.

As media sponsors, AskBlondieTV proudly stands with Bace Basketball in this mission to support and protect our youth. We encourage the community to come out, bring a chair, bring your child, and be part of something that truly matters.

Let’s show our young people that community still stands strong that we are here for them, and we are not giving up on them or our neighborhoods.
