Another Amazing Weekend For Dancehall In NYC

Dancehall is back and better than ever. NYC got a chance to witness another historic moment.

This time is was the 20th anniversary celebration for dancehall mega star Aidonia.

Aidonia’s 20th Anniversary Celebration featured the likes of Sizzla, Mavado, Cham, Shenseea, Govana, and Jada Kingdom.

Spragga Benz, who was also booked for the event, posted a video showing he was at the venue but did not perform.

Following the show, Spragga Benz shared a post appearing in stage attire with the caption:

“My apologies goes out to the fans who came to see me at U BS Arena. I am very disappointed as I was ready and prepared and my DJ was onstage… I won’t cast blame although I do hope the promoters can shed more light as to what really happened and why.”
