A’Legends Completes Jamaican School Tour – Over 9,000 Students Empowered

Please find attached a press release announcing the successful completion of an inspiring school tour across Jamaica by international author, actress, and cultural ambassador Jenelle Alexia, founder of the lifestyle brand A’Legends.

Through her bestselling children’s book series Keira and Jaime, Jenelle reached over 9,000 students across 9 schools, engaging them through interactive readings, cultural discussions, and empowerment workshops. The tour also included a mini fashion show showcasing three original A’Legends brand designs worn by student participants.

Selected by Minister Olivia “Babsy” Grange as a featured guest for Read Across Jamaica Day, Jenelle’s tour emphasized the power of literacy, identity, and creative expression. As a result of this impactful work, she is now set to receive the 2025 Diaspora Excellence Award from Rediscover Africa for her contributions to youth development and cultural education.

Jenelle Alexia’s work has been featured in Jamaica Gleaner, CVM Sunrise, TVJ and Vision Newspaper (Canada). She is now expanding her literacy mission into the wider Caribbean, the U.S., the U.K., and Africa.
